Program evaluation
PQA develops analytical methods and metrics to determine the extent to which environmental programs are achieving their goals. The reasons for a shortfall can also be determined, including an assessment of the extent to which the goals are realistic and achievable. Depending on the program and its goals, analytical methods may include environmental monitoring and data analysis, compliance inspections and surveys, agency resource evaluations, cost studies, comprehensive staff interviews and program management evaluations, and other standard assessment techniques.
