Kendra Schmid, Associate.    B.S., with Distinction, Phi Beta Kappa, Iowa State University, 2005 (Computer Science); M.S., University of Virginia, 2007 (Computer Science)

Ms. Schmid joined PQA in June 2007 as a programmer/analyst in the Program Implementation Group, where she is assisting with the development of major environmental information systems. Prior to joining PQA, as an undergraduate and in graduate school, Ms. Schmid gained significant experience as a research assistant on requirements clarification tools and techniques. In June 2006 she published "Safety Critical Application Development Environment," as part of a survey of tools for model checking and model-based development. Her prior experience also includes four summer internships with IBM, and three years as a National Science Foundation undergraduate research assistant. Ms. Schmid received the Top 5 Computer Science Student Award for three consecutive years at Iowa State University.
