Jim Ryan, Associate.
B.A., Swarthmore College, 1987 (Philosophy); M.A., University of Virginia, 1991 (Religious Studies); Ph.D., University of Miami, 1996 (Philosophy); M.I.T., Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, expected 2007 (Information Technology)
Mr. Ryan joined PQA's programming group in October 2006. Before joining PQA, he assisted with research involving DNA Polymerase Beta at the University of Virginia, and he most recently worked as a database/accounting assistant. Previously, Mr. Ryan was an Assistant Professor of Philosophy for six years at the University of Western Ontario. His work towards an Information Technology degree has included the fields of Java and database development and computer-based decision support systems (Visual Basic). Mr. Ryan's technical capabilities include Java, SQL, Access, JavaScript, and HTML.
