Emissions trading and reporting systems
Senior PQA information technology staff provide specialized expertise in communications and information system requirements involving emissions trading programs. PQA's expertise in this subject area is based on over ten years of continuous development and support of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's emissions trading systems. More recently PQA has provided development and support for the United Nations and European Commission emissions trading systems required under the Kyoto Protocol, an intrastate emissions trading system for New York State, and a Kyoto Protocol compliant trading registry for New Zealand. PQA is also currently developing reporting registries for The Climate Registry (a consortium of over 37 states and provinces in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico) and the World Bank.
